Can I just say; thank you so much for both of the recs for my stuff, I about died of delight when I saw you'd recced Palimpsest. (I'd kind of expected 'Qu'est-ce que c'est?', because, well --- I know you.) But that was a welcome shock and made me grin from ear to ear, especially what you said about it. ♥

And I still say it wasn't a complete rec-set, because it missed out one of our very best writers. So here's hoping we're a big enough fandom to snag another spot next year. (I? would rec you to death. I mean this in a non-creepy way.)

You might guess now that that's what I was bitching about when I said I couldn't rec my favourite piece in the fandom - both of those qualify and I really only wanted to rec each writer once, so we got the biggest spread of talent mentioned.

I'll leave you to work out which one I mean... I couldn't not rec it, so I thought I'd make a feature out of the fact!!!

(Plus, you have been in the fandom an awfully long time and have written a huge load of fic, really, proportionally, it only made sense!)

I'd like to see someone else rec, but to be honest, I'm not sure it'll happen. It's not the size of the fandom that counts, it's who's willing to stand up and do the work. Which, as you know, is usually not enough people!
