Gah! We've been going to the GBBF for years,regular as clockwork Tue evening, Wednesday and Thursday without fail and guess what? This year we decided to give it a miss because our mates from Manchester aren't coming down for it... bugger!

Ah well, raise a (third-pint!) glass of Timothy Taylor's Golden Best (if they've got it in this year!) for me,won't you? I will be grumbling into my half of Alton's Pride (GBBF Champion Beer of Britain 2009) down the Triple fff brewery tap tonight...
