I keep meaning to say - I discovered recently that a distant relative who went off to South Africa to make his fortune in the nineteenth century came back with a pile of diamonds and two meerkats, which he kept in the grounds of the mansion he built by Cape Cornwall.

Sadly so distant that neither meerkats nor diamonds came our way in the end.
