The phrase 'due to an explosion at West Kensington' is one that is guaranteed to scare the living daylights out of me. As the trains seem to be running through, again, now, it probably isn't that bad...

i hope...

Yeah, doesn't seem to be reported anywhere. I'm guessing it wasn't anything like.

It was suggested as such at about 7pm - definitely something not to be too worried about. Also, no sign of anything this morning.

I haven't heard anything about anything in Shepherd's Bush, and my trains were running fine back to Clapham - buses all seemed fine too. Do tell when you know more though!

It seems to have all gone quiet. Not even a mention on the "previous incidents" page at TFL. Very strange!

Actually, the Consulate is a good mile away - nearer High Street Ken than West Ken.

Still no idea - probably just a signal failure that got the poor train driver over-excited.

Well true, but it's all relative - especially to me in East London.

Maybe it was an irate passenger who couldn't bite their tongue any longer.

Last night the tfl website was suggesting trespassers at West Ken. Possibly they attributed it as something else?
