The Late News

So the landlady is in hospital with blood clots in her lungs. Serious? Yes. Deadly? Potentially. She's still hoping to make it back home within the next couple of days, though. Eternal optimism, eh?

I'm awfully hungover today as not_here is in town. There was a huge get-together last night which was fun. And there's more tonight. Not so much beer, I hope!

My Granddad died of the same thing fifteen years ago. But she's a lot better, so here's hoping. Thanks!
